The crash, which took place in Larchmont around 8:15 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 12,  closed all southbound lanes after one of the tractor-trailers jack-knifed blocking all lanes of traffic, New York State Police Trooper Tara McCormick said.

A small fuel spill also had to be cleaned up at the scene, further delaying traffic which is still slow due to a secondary accident because of the traffic delays of up to six miles, McCormick said.

Minor injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
